In nearly every asana yoga practice, you physically practice the vinyasa sequence which is: plank to chaturanga to upward dog to downward dog. This repetitive movement can be very beneficial for the body but also extremely harmful if done incorrectly due to its repetitive nature in a yoga practice. Many injuries (especially shoulder and lower back) stem from incorrect execution of this sequence.
