কারবালার ফুল কাহিনী_ইমাম হোসাইনের কষ্ট । মাওঃ বজলুর রশিদ মিঞা । Bozlur Roshid Waz Karbala #MBR WAZ কারবালার যুদ্ধ ইসলামিক পঞ্জিকা অনুসারে ১০ মুহাররম ৬১ হিজরী মোতাবেক বর্তমান ইরাকের কারবালা নামক প্রান্তরে সংগঠিত হয়েছিল। এই যুদ্ধটি ইসলামের নবী মুহাম্মদ (সঃ) এর নাতি হোসাইন ইবন আলী এর অল্প কিছু সমর্থক-আত্মীয় এবং উমাইয়া খলিফা প্রথম ইয়াজিদ, যার বশ্যতা স্বীকার করতে হোসাইন অস্বীকার করেন, তার বিশাল সেনাবাহিনীর মধ্যে সংগঠিত হয়। এই যুদ্ধে হোসাইন এবং তার ছয় মাস বয়সী শিশুপুত্র আলী আল-আসগর ইবন হোসেইনসহ সকল সমর্থক নিহত হয় ও নারী এবং শিশুরা বন্দি হন। মুসলমানদের মতানুসারে নিহতদের সকলে 'শহীদ' হিসেবে অভিহিত হন এবং এই যুদ্ধ শিয়া মতাবলম্বীদের ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্যের কেন্দ্রস্থলে অবস্থান করে। শিয়া মুসলমানরা প্রতিবছর মুহররম মাসে কারবালার যুদ্ধকে স্মরণ করে। পয়লা মুহররমের দিন থেকে এর শুরু হয় এবং ১০ মুহররমের দিন (আশুরা) তা চূড়ান্ত পর্যায়ে পৌছে। The Battle of Karbala was fought on 10 Muharram 61 Hijri according to the Islamic calendar in the desert of Karbala in present-day Iraq. The battle was fought between a few supporters of Husayn ibn Ali, the grandson of the Prophet of Islam Muhammad (pbuh), and the large army of the Umayyad Caliph Yazid I, whom Husayn refused to submit to. In this battle, all the supporters of Husayn and his six-month-old infant son Ali al-Asghar ibn Husayn were killed and women and children were captured. All those killed are called 'martyrs' according to Muslims, and the battle is at the heart of Shia history and tradition. Shia Muslims commemorate the Battle of Karbala every year during the month of Muharram. It begins on the first day of Muharram and reaches its climax on the 10th day of Muharram (Ashura).
