@artificialreverie98182 years ago I feel like the issue with Hino is that she’s not as experienced with writing longer stories. Her shorter manga series are better imo (like Meru Puri & that’s only 4 volumes)
which I think also explains why the Vampire Knight manga doesn’t start going off the rails until after volume 9 ... 85

@kait.54372 years ago Honestly after watching all your diabolik lovers vibs (or like most of them) I can't believe ya'll think Kaname wouldn't absolutely dom every vampire (including Ayato) purely out of his creepy love for Yuki and pureblood culture.
Still love your stuff don't get me wrong. But this is unforgivable lol. ... 26

@notyetawomen52572 years ago Kaname voice actor was in this other anime called Gankutsuou: The Count of Monte Cristo, and believe or not he actually sounds normal ish probably because he doesn't play a vampire. 7

@seinakimura4201last year Hino has a unique art style, interesting characters, and lore but she doesn't know how to write good long stories. She clearly had no idea what she wanted to do with Vampire Knight, adding unnecessary plot elements to keep people interested, which backfired. I loathed the incestuous relationships with pureblood vampires and her crush on her brother/grandfather Kaname Kuran. Zero was just a third wheel who had to put up with both of their bullshit and suffered the most throughout the entire series. I said this before and I'll say it again Yuki did not deserve him. ... 6
