PINEAPPLE CHICKEN TERIYAKI BOWLS | fancy dinner made simple

Hey, hi, hello everyone and welcome back to Morgs' Menu! Today's video I show you how I make a Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki bowl. These look so cool and taste even better!! Follow my Morgs' Menu Instagram: https://instagram.com/morgs_menu?igshid=w9qqmde4cxve __________________________________________________________ Pineapple Chicken Teriyaki (2 servings) Ingredients: 1 pineapple 1/2 cup rice 1 cup chicken stock ~1/2 lb. boneless chicken thighs ~1/2 tbsp. olive oil ~1 tbsp. minced garlic ~1 tbsp. minced ginger Salt & pepper Homemade teriyaki: 1/4 cup soy sauce 1/4 cup coconut aminos 1/4 cup brown sugar 1 tbsp. honey 1 & 1/2 tbsp. apple cider vinegar 1/2 tbsp. minced ginger 1 tbsp. sesame oil 2 cloves minced garlic 1 & 1/2 tbsp. corn starch 1/4 cup water Green onion and cilantro for topping (optional) Steps: 1. Cook rice in stock according to package 2. Cut pineapple in half 3. Cut a square along the edge of each half of pineapple to cut the inside of the pineapple into cubes 4. Spoon out cubes and inside of pineapple; set about two cups aside 5. Dice green onions and chicken 6. In a pan at medium heat, cook chicken with ginger, garlic, salt, and pepper 7. Once chicken is done, add in diced pineapple set aside and cook for 3 - 4 minutes 8. Mix together all ingredients for teriyaki sauce 9. Add sauce into pan with cooked pineapple and chicken 10. Simmer sauce for 5 - 10 minutes until it thickens 11. Assemble bowls by adding rice in one half and chicken mixture in other 12.
