The life expectancy of Koreans is on the rise, and the gap between men and women is narrowing.
Statistics Korea says... baby girls born in 2013... will live to an average age of 85, and boys to 78-and-a-half.
That′s a gap of 6-and-a-half years,... the smallest gap ever recorded.
The agency attributes the rise to men taking better care of their health.
Compared to ten years ago,... men′s life expectancy has shot up by 4-point-7 years, while for women it has risen 4-point-2 years.
