My dad (Dennis Meade) won the 64 car $50,000 shootout and gamblers race worth about $6500 in one weekend at the Ultimate 64 at Kil-Kare Raceway, all with a backup motor that was quickly thrown together the week prior. The Ultimate 64 started on Thursday when my dad managed to win the gamblers race, winning a $1500 entry into the 64 car $50 grander on Saturday (he already had one entry) and a cylinder head/intake package, which added all up to about a $6,500 value. Then on Saturday night after a storm, they started the 64 car shootout for $50k. Due to curfew, they had to stop racing at midnight, at that point, they were down to 16 cars, and my dad still had both the Camaro and the dragster in. Sunday morning, they started with the 16 remaining cars. He lost the third round in the dragster, but went on to park the Purple Camaro in the winner circle for $50k, taking out three former winners on the way. Lynch refused to split, so the final round had a $40,000 difference on the line ($50,000 winner, $10,000 runner-up) for the first time ever. Dennis Meade laid a .010 total run down, making Lynch mathematically ineligible in the final round. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- TWITCH - https://www.twitch.tv/LtsChase TWITTER - https://twitter.com/LtsChase INSTAGRAM - https://www.instagram.com/LtsChase/ STREAM NOTIFICATIONS - https://twitter.com/LtsChaseN
