Gobi Manchurian
Ingredients:
For gobi(cauliflower) fry:
1 full medium size gobi(cauliflower)
Salt as needed
Maida 1/4 cup
Cornstarch 1/4 cup
Oil for deep frying
For sauce mixture:
Red chili paste 2 tablespoons or use schezwan sauce 2 tablespoons
Green chili sauce 1 tablespoon
Vinegar 2 teaspoon
Light Soya sauce 2 tablespoons(if you are using dark soya sauce use 1 tablespoon)
Tomato ketchup 2 tablespoons
For preparing Manchuria:
Onion 1 large
Ginger chopped 1 tablespoon
Garlic chopped 1 1/2 tablespoons
Few green chilies
Oil 2 tablespoon
Capsicum 1 small
Salt as required
Water 1/2 cup
Pepper powder 1 teaspoon
Honey 2 teaspoons
Coriander chopped 2 tablespoons
For preparing red chili paste at home:
1. Boil 2 cups water.
2. Add kashmiri red chilli as needed quantities, cook for 5 minutes. switch off the flame and let it cool completely.
3. Remove water from chilies and grind it into a smooth paste.
4. Heat the kadai add some oil and add chili paste and cook in medium flame for 10-15 minutes till oil separates, once done cool completely and store in the fridge upto 1-2 months.
